Trending Indian comedy concept shows

Nation wants to Guess

Gursimran Khamba is back with his funniest quiz show, Nation Wants to Guess, and is winning the laughter of the nation. The show’s name may remind audiences of the popular news program Nation Wants to Know; however, there is no official proof or statement from the comedian confirming the same. The show has already welcomed popular comedians from every decade, including Amit Tandon, Ashish Solanki, Gurleen Pannu, Rahul Subramanian, Varun Thakur, and many more, making it a must-watch comedy quiz show.

Pretty Good Roast Show

It has been launched by Ashish Solanki, winner of Comicstaan (popular comedy show on Amazon Prime). The concept of the Pretty Good Roast show is to invite a popular guest and a panel for roasting. The guest can be any renowned actress/actor, YouTuber, or standup comedian. From Huma Qureshi to Kunal Kamra, everyone has been invited so far to get themselves roasted by the panelists. The panel consists of standup comedians only. Everyone in the panel roasts the other panelists and the guest, obviously. In the end, the guest gets the chance to roast the whole panel and the host of the show.

Season 1 was successful in making people giggle with the witty panelists and the amazing guests. Though the organizer had to suffer a legal controversy as one of the guests of the show couldn’t take jokes and threatened them with legal action after it was recorded. Ashish Solanki had to remove the face of the guest before launching that episode, but still the guest had issues, which led to the removal of that episode.

Season 2 is ongoing in 2025 with the same format, but with a sponsor this time. Thus, they had to rename the Pretty Good Roast Show to Brocode Roast Show.

Madhur Model

The show is owned by Madhur Virli, another viral comedian from IIT. He is known for his dark humour and adult comedy. Madhur launched this show in 2024 and it’s still ongoing. The show is inspired by an American live podcast and stand-up comedy variety show created and hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. In this show, local comedians are invited to perform their sets in front of a live audience and two renowned comedians, including Madhur himself. The twist of the show is a “betting” format in which the audience is asked a few questions or given a task about the next performing comedian. In this show, comedians like Chirag Panjwani, Rajat Sood, and Ashish Solanki have been guest comedians alongside Virli.

Andha Pyaar

Produced and hosted by Vivek Samtani, who has grown to fame by his satirical take on feminism and evil practices against a specific gender in our country. His show is inspired by Brandon Berman’s show “UpDating.” It is a unique blend of live comedy, reality dating, and audience participation. The agenda of the show is to bring people together who might never have met otherwise, and to celebrate the awkward, funny, and real aspects of dating in the modern age.

Who Let the Drunks Out

Swati Sachdeva, another Indian standup comedian, launched this fun game show, in which popular creators are invited. Certainly, in this show, contestants participate in a wild mix of fun games. The games involve live audience participation. All of this takes place under the influence of booze.

Lie Hard

Gaurav Kapoor joins hands with Cashify to produce this amazing show, in which all the subsequent rounds are related to lying. Four to five guests are invited by Gaurav, all of them are comedians, and they have to lie in almost all rounds in different formats of the game show. The one who lies the best has the highest score, which makes them win the “Certified Liar” Award.
